Dear
Parents
Chicken
Pox
We
have one case of Chicken pox in the Sunflower room.
Hopefully
this won’t spread but if it does please keep your child away from nursery until
all their spots have scabbed over.
Missing
Bag
Please
can you check your blue bags as one of the Sunflower girls is missing hers. If
you have picked it up by mistake please can you return it to the Sunflower
room.
Cold
Weather
It
has been very cold this week and some of the children have not had suitable
coats. Not every child has gloves or hats either.
Please
remember we do go outside every day in the morning and afternoon, whatever the
weather.
We
have been using our spare hats and gloves but we only have a limited number. On
the coldest days we had to use socks for mittens!
Staff
News
Exciting
news, Rose is going to have a baby!
We
are all very excited for her and can’t wait to meet the new arrival due in
June.
I
will keep you updated of her planned last day before maternity leave.

There are no changes to this week’s menu.
If you
would like to see a copy of our allergens menu at any time please ask!
Policies of the week
We are
currently updating our policies. When these are finished we would like some of
our parents to review them.
All you
would need to do is read some or all of the policies and give some feedback on
them.
If you
are interested please let me know.
This week’s activities
Each key person will be responsible for designing
an activity based on their key children’s needs; however, all children who are
in on that day will have the opportunity to access the activity too.
If the key person is on holiday or off, another
staff member will be able to lead the activity in their place so that the
children do not miss out.

stage, the guidance we use to support our planning and practice, please visit:
