Caroline is back from her holiday on Thursday 11^th July – just in time for the Graduation!

Our Policy this week is: Sleeping children procedure

 

This week’s activities

Each key person will be responsible for designing an activity based on their key children’s needs; however, all children who are in on that day will have the opportunity to access the activity too.

If the key person is on holiday or off, another staff member will be able to lead the activity in their place so that the children do not miss out.

Buttercups

Monday – Leanne’s group will be practising their walking skills using push along toys

Tuesday – Nilem’s group are playing cooperative games with balls

Wednesday – Emma’s group will be developing their interest in looking at books about animals and people

Thursday – Charlotte’s group are learning new words through naming toy vehicles on the town mat

Friday – Magda’s group are exploring colours and textures as they paint pictures with sponges

Charlotte is off Friday, Magda is off Monday, Nilem is off Friday, Emma is off Thursday and Leanne is off Tuesday

 

Bluebells

Monday – Sophie’s group will be exploring how to make the remote control cars move around the room

Tuesday – Sophie’s group are throwing and kicking large balls to each other in the garden to encourage turn-taking and cooperation

Wednesday – Donna’s group will be creating collages with glue and a variety of materials  

Thursday – Donna’s group are developing their gross motor skills through playing with the skittles and ball set

Friday – Josie’s’ group will be practising their vocabulary as they look at our new story books

Donna is off Friday, Josie is off Tuesday, Sophie is off Thursday and Rose is off Wednesday

Monday – Chloe’s group will be helping each other to make a den in the garden

Tuesday – Alison’s group are discussing what happens in the summer and writing a poem about it

Wednesday – Jess’ group are talking about the occupations of their family members to develop their interest in different ways of life

Thursday – Chloe’s group will be practising their hand eye coordination as they play with the ‘scoop bats’ and balls

Friday –Jess’s group will be making the number fish puzzle to encourage their number recognition

Jess is off Monday, Chloe is off Wednesday and Alison does 9.30-2.30 Monday to Thursday
